I wrote this e-mail to give you some "insight" on the whole satanic symbol being banned from school. -I understand your bias, and I of course observe that we all have bias, but your point about the symbol doesn't make sense for this reason : You're making a comparison between Satanism and other structuralized religion that simply isn't there. The widespread practice of satanic worship includes violence, bizarre and unhealthy acts. Although people within Catholicism, Islam or what have you may also do some pretty terrible things, it is not what the religion represents. Being structures of learning, schools strive to eliminate disruptions that will get their kids off track. The satanic symbol was no different than a swastika or Al Quida symbol. Whats more interesting however is that you show your one sided hatred for the belief in God. -If all religious beliefs are really the bulldookie you claim they are, Satan is just as fake as Santa. -Why do you support the belief in one higher power and not the other? -Not logical my friend. The sooner you accept Jesus into your life and worship him faithfully, you will be enlightened to the glory and love of our holy savior. -ok, so I'm being facetious of course. -But not all religious people are bumbling dummies, and I hope I can at least make you see that much. -There is plenty of logic in religion. if you would take a few minutes and read my articles on satanism or better yet read the writings of satan himself "anton lavey" you would't make such rediculous statements. satanism is a religion for atheists, and it does not have anything to do with murder or worshiping deities. the only god a satanist worships is himself.

My dear sir Aaron, your website continues to make mistake after mistake as I continue reading. -I haven't the time at the moment to cover TOO much, but I will do a bit. -I hope you take my corrections as bits of knowledge instead of immediately dismissing them. Anyway - you say : "There is no author(s) noted, so there is no way to decide even who wrote it, let alone if this writer was a truthful, factual one!" Well, this isn't true. -Abraham and Moses are credited with writing the Old Testament and the Christian New Testament is even cut up into the books of the writer (Mathew, Mark, Luke, John, etc). The literature contained within is documentation of the deity - the teachings of God - the "Gospel". They're all one in the same but the person who transcribed the info is still credited. Hence phrases such as "the Gospel according to John" and so on that I am sure you have heard before. You also say : "And do you think that this just and merciful god will actually hate my intellecual inquiry on the subject at hand. I hope that if he does exist (which is a major assumption) then he will value my logic and reason regarding religion, rather than cast me out for being intellegent" God certainly does not hate intelligence. God encourages questioning, however, I can't imagine you honestly wanting God (assuming one exists of course) to value your "logic and reason" when you haven't applied any to take credit for. If you are dismissing God's existence through lack of hard core forensic evidence, then that is hardly any kind of logic. The lack of proof, proves not the lack of validity. That is what I call caveman instinct (mind you, I'm not calling you a Neanderthal. -just that notion of thought) and man has certainly moved beyond such a point. Now, if you had instead entertained the possibility that there may be something to this mass believed Religion idea, studied up on it and then became convinced that it's a sham - your above statement would carry some weight. -Having reasons against something is much stronger and more respectable than simply having a lack of reasons for something. Anyway my boy, I have a prior obligation I must attend to. -I do look forward to your response and will definitely be sending you some more mail and responses. Remember that I don't need you to think like me, I'm just disputing the logical side of things. Also - don't put me in the hate mail section! the fact that a person's name is noted as the author does not show proof of who wrote it, or even if the author was telling the truth. the name could easily be an alias or another man posing as the named author. but that really doesn't matter too much, because it's the content that is the problem here. "extrodinary claims require extrodinary evidence;" and there is no evidence that anything written in these books actually happened. one man wrote them down and no others, you'd think more than one person would write about the day ALL the slaves left egypt or the seas parting and destroying an army or the dead walking through the streets. the reason i noted that the author is not properly documented is becuase now you cannot find another work by the same man, nor any other literature about him that will give you any clue as to if he was a factual writer or a looney!

i went to your site and read some of the "hate email" portion. i decided to find out what everyone was so up in arms about. i read some of your articles, especially those pertaining to science as this is the field i am most interested in. i must say that you seem to be pretty educated on many topics. but it also seems that you are educating yourself according to what you want to be true. i would challange you to ask yourself whether you are honestly seeking the truth, or if you are seeking information that corrisponds to your beliefs. we're all guilty of it, but i believe that it is the goal of the scientific community to eliminate it. i have a lot to say about the articles in the section on science, but would like to first address an issue that i find a lot in atheistic circles. you mentioned in one of your letters that you put stock in what is real, in what is physical. you said that you do not believe in a soul or a god because they are not physical and thier existance is based on assumtions, blind faith, and emotions. i contest that your physical world is just as shakey and unstable as a christians spiritual world. if we are to put stock in the science of physics we must accept that an observer observing something physical (a rock for instance) is not observing the rock itself, but rather the effects, and sometimes the effects of the effects, of the rock on it's surroundings. to even begin to study or take hold of science we must make assumtions and draw conclusions and have faith that our observations are subjective. so, then i would ask you what problem you have with a christians "proof" for the existance of a god, and how is it different from your "proof" of the existance of a rock? please email me at davelier@netscape.net. i would hope that you address this topic on your website, but i can't promise that i will be able to view it. here is why scientific method outclasses religious belief. everything in this world that can be observed can be interpreted incorrectly. a flood may occure killing hundreds of people and destroying an entire community with its devistation. the religious man might say it was a n act of god. i however would look at it from a scientific viewpoint: "what physical evidence is there that will help determine why there was a flood? it's pretty easy to find such evidence if it still exists such as a hurricane on the coastline causing flashfloods all over the coastal cities and than you might go even further to find that the air currents colliding caused a rapid change in pressure over the ocean and began to form the hurrican and than you can trace the air currents back to their origin perhaps some from africa and others from alaska and you'd know exactly how the flood began. the religious view would stop at the assumption "god did it" and than make that their fact. after carefully studying the evidence the scientist realises that the true cause was temprature changes in various parts of the would that would eventually cause the flood. also after the scientist finishes the examination other scientists might try to challenge his conclusions and the challenging scientist might have found information that points to an area in new york not alaska that caused some of the air changes. this does not destroy the origional hypothisis, but it does change it. religion on the other hand might see this evidence and say "sorry our mind is set.. it was god... end of story!" and this is why religion fails because the faith in unchangable. science you might need some faith in your assumptions to do the testing, but it stops there, you dont create a theory out of your faith you create a solid theory out of testing and challenges to the testing.

If there is no god Why go on in this ####ed up world. If after we die we just rot then why should we look forward to a new day? Life is pretty shitty. Death,despair,hatered. If there is no god then what good is the world? Every one that reads this do me a favor....For this second think of dieing tomorrow. Now doesn't that scare you. I know it does. yes there are atheists that are depressed and havehad troubled lives and have lots of anger. however i personally do not. dying is not at all scary, i just hope that enough of me stays behind in the form of my writings and games and philosophy so that i will at least live on in the minds of others. death is not scary because it is the end. i wil not be concious when i'm dead in order for me to feal miserable. only those with weak minds actually fear death. death is a release for many and i feal it will feal much like the restful nights sleep you get from a long dreamless sleep session. i don't need to act all tough, because it is true and i am prettysure thatmany of my viewers feal the same way. why beleive in a god simply because you fear the inevitable end of your life. only those with the highest levels of vanity feal that they must somehow live forever! no one deserves eternal life and no one will recieve it (for the current time at least)

I am writing you because a friend of mine turned me on to your website; no-god.com. I find much of your information very interesting. You see I was born and raised a Catholic, went through all the motions, even became a member of the youth group at our church, but lately I have been feeling like a sucker. Like prey, if you will. I started college in the fall of 2001 and it seems to have been the slap in the head that I needed. I feel like I have been following blindly like a sheep all my life. And when you think about it I have no actual concrete way of explaining what faith in god is. My friend, Matt, who turned me on to the site has been a huge help. Always listening and never telling me what to believe as I do as much research as I can. I have to admit that actually questioning I feel better than I have in years. I have always hated the Catholic Church the principals upon which it stands. Recently it has become intollerable. But still I thought that there has to be a god. Why? When I started asking myself why it was that I thought there had to be a god it stemmed from weakness. Matt, showed my some Tool lyrics that explain it perfectly. Its from their song Opiate, I don't know if you are familiar with the song. "Choices always were a problem for you. What you need is someone strong to guide you. Deaf and blind and dumb and born to follow, what you need is someone strong to use you.. like me, like me. I don't know why I am telling you all of this. I know that it is a pretty long letter, but I felt I had to share and I have a question for you also. Did you have trouble explaining to other people your beliefs at first? What I mean is that I come from a huge family and most everyone is Christian. I don't feel like explaining myself to them and facing all their questions because they just wouldn't listen to the real answers anyway. Do you have any tips on how to avoid those kind of situations? This is not to say that I am unprepared to defend my point of view. If questioned I can do just that, I just don't want to advertise it to people.

I hate God. Im an athiest leaning towards Satinism. I hate God for lots of different reasons. For one he contradicts him self. Ex: Thouh shall not kill- Drowns the entire world, Thouh shall not covet thi nabiors wife- he goes & rapes the virgin Mary then sends an "angel" to tell her. What the hell did her husband think about that one? Virgin Mary- "honey I was raped by God." Another reason I choose to stop believing in God is because everything is a sin. You have no freedom w/out worrying "OH NO if I have sex before im married im going to hell." That's why I don't care I know im going to hell. I've helped it along to. I do everything that I can that I know is a sin. Hell, you only live once why not make the best of it? Ex: sex before im married, I engage in the same sex relations (Im a girl & im bie), I sold my sole to the Devil & am now living large, I lie, I don't always respect my mother & father, I do drugs, I worship the devil, I don't go to church & never plan to, I have stolen, & last but not least- I hate god & I always will. I live a much better life w/ out the worry & hassle if I have sex or lie or do drugs I might go to hell. See doesn't it seem so much better? The Devil doesn't give a big harry shit about any of that. In fact he encourages it. So fuck God.

i understand where you are comming fromchristianity is very hypocritical; and illogical and of course based in myth & legend. but the way you describe your feelings towards it, makes you sound like you beleive in god and just hate him. if this is true then you cannot call yourself an atheist, because the atheism is a lack of beleif in gods / supernatural. simply hating god and religion and wanting to be a defiant creature makes you just another emotionally unstable person with way too much anger on board. atheism should be attained through rational thought and comming to the conclusion that gods are beyond a reasonable doubt unlikly to exist and perhaps even laughable in the case of certain religions with goofy gods like christianity. your defiant cry out shows a degree of emotional and intellectual immaturity, i suggest you think about your reactions to religion in a sensable way instead of doing just whatever the opposite of the religious law states. for instance, just because the bible has a commandment stating that "thou shalt not steal," doesn't mean you should go out and become a theif. actions like this are socially unacceptable, because they harm productive citizens attempting to make a living. if you look at all things in a similar way you will realise that many of the social guidlines in the bible or any similar religious text are there, because they are the ingrediants to make a safe and productive society; and not just to piss people off. satanism is an interesting choice for a philosophy to get into, i'm curious if you are interested in the heretical and anti-christian views or the "back to the animal basics" concept that increases individuality and personal/mental freedom? and do you wish to worship satan as a deity or as an atheistic representation of our animal nature? i would suggest you take some ethics, humanities, and science classes if you are still in school (i can only assume that you are still relativly young and either in high school or college). any classes that teach you about societies of humans as well as other animals might help you understand the scientific process and how morality affects society. i am not sure what type of social, political, religious background you have (meaning your parents and familily rules) and i also have no knowledge of your age and schooling. please email me back i'm curious how you take to my response as i'm not totally sure how you came to your current conclusions on morality and religion and the like. -aaron chapman -ps i'm all for the bisexual thing, just wish my girlfried was bi so she might get some extra friends along :)

I stumbled across your site through the dress dubya game, "funny" I thought, 'cause all we Aussies can do is laugh whilst our country is being sodomized by Bush. Anyway from what I hear and read of religion in the USA I think you're fairly brave or cheeky to run this site, either way power to you. Americans think Australia was founded by convicts (another word for prisoners), well yeah, the first colony was, a lot of those people were petty thiefs or in debt, after that we got farmers and free settlers, yes we got criminals but we got the better deal, America got Puritans!. thanks, yes bush has done a few stupid things, however our military movements into iraq are completly justified both morally and legally. iraq has spat in our face in defiance of the cease-fire contract after the gulf war, so it's just a very late entry into iraq that should have taken place at least 6 years ago when clinto was in power, but was too scared to actually use force to fix our iraq problems. bush's real flaw is his overly religious nature and how it mixes with his politics. he wants faith based groups to get money from taxpayers so they can preach to people while giving them charity and he wants to make the war against the middle east about religion. while the islamic religion is the basis for the terror attacks, we should respond in a secular manner rather than make a big deal about the christian god being on our side. reasonable people have given up on this country and now we have liberal hippies that wanna make us socialists and religious concervatives that want a theocracy; my question is "what's wrong with the nation the way it was origionally made? no religion, no welfare, no waste on federal programs, and eveyrone worked for a living and a hard days work ment a better lifestyle. now everyone wants the government to suit their personal beleifs, it's just getting stupid, maybe i should move to australia... -aaron

I have recently played your game celebremon on newgrounds.com and I thought it was the best thing you have made. I really liked the game play and I thought you did a good job of adding just enough game play of pokemon with out making it seem gay. I think of you feel like a lot of people would like a sequel maybe you could change it to Yu-gi-oh I think it would make a great sequel. If you do make a second one I think a R.
